BeforeandAfters

A couple of people been asking about before and afters, so just giving them a heads up.

First book,

At 1:30 am i placed the final page on the screw post! Complete what is known as my portfolio book! Just like any book there is a title, so i decided to title it "1028". A number that is special to me.
So if you happen to read this before viewing my portfolio, keep an eye out for those numbers.

Proud I am!
It took me awhile choosing the right color and textured cloths, but in the end, it adds and a compliments the images in the book.
My portfolio book is

-11X18
-Baby blue, canvas( no branding)
-16 images
-12 pages
-some pages have rhymes while others are written in a narrative way.
-The intro of the book, is organized the same way as the silent film era.  But your gonna have to see my book to understand what im talking about.

Today was doing an assignment, to make Valencia Street as interesting as possible!
Came up with the idea of reflections interacting with it's surroundings.  This is most successful one out of all the shots.  Really proud of it!

Concept of Creative Chaos

  Due to limitations that I place on myself,  I have not experimented with photoshop enough to grow creatively.  Don't get me wrong i know photoshop well, and have an arsenal of photoshop tricks but  personally I often feel bored in "creating the perfect composite"; the matching light directions, shadows and details.  At one point in my life I photographed with film, chrome, 4x5, medium format, photographing motion and still life! Again and again I  used techniques such as cross processing, double exposure, white on white zone 7-8, over agitation, polaroid transfers, and my favorite sabatier "pronounced saba- te-ay" all this to push creativity!

"One time I developed a slide film and painted bleach over it, and the concept was to make the images look like they were glowing!  They weren't perfect but now to think about it, who cares!" (thinking about is giving me the itch to purchase some slide film!

 Early experiments such as these gave me a reason to go further into photography, this also lead me in creating a term called creating creative chaos!  Creative Chaos can be defined as an abandonment of making things look perfect! 

I've been lacklustering on this idea and it's preventing me from growing creatively.  And it has to stop now!

This is image is one of the many experiments i will be doing, so with that said let the creativity begin!

Lady finds a gynormous shoe with a worker inside.

Landscape study!

I am trying to replicate a very warm but moody landscape background on the new blue rose composite!

Here is my test/messing around with color ratio;s 

And the one below is the actual background on the new comp im working on!

So far so good, but really need to add one more element! just not sure what it is yet!

Re-Amped the shot

So I decided to adjust the hat the previous shot just looked like a twig.
Looking at the fish im not to sure if they should be there.  But overall i dig the look.
